Well, you don’t even have to stand up anymore, just make yourself at home and stay in the booth all the time - the videos are just some mouse clicks away… and if you still watch boring programmes you can’t blame us this time. Since 4 years we offer you instant access to any programme in one of the 122 screening booths with a state-of-the art digital system - but this year it’s grown up and got mature!
The videokiosk infrastructure was planned, developped and built by adfinis Gmbh (www.adfinis.ch), specialized for high performance networking and internet applications mainly focussed on Linux environments - the complete videokiosk is based on Linux, powering video streaming servers and the PC in front of you. The high quality digital video encoding was done by Stephan Bornik from Trust Graphic Design (www.tgd.ch).”
